About hidden costs
The only extras come from what we can't see
Until the old tiles or panels come off, no one can see what's behind them. The most common hidden issues are damaged plasterboard or rotten floorboards from years of slow leaks. If we find anything, we stop, show you, and agree the cost before carrying on — you're never billed for work you haven't approved.

Do you take a deposit?+
No. Pay on completion once you're happy.
Are there any hidden costs?+
The only extras come from damage we can't see until the old bathroom is stripped — usually rotten floorboards or water-damaged plasterboard behind the old tiles. You can't price what's hidden behind a wall. If we find anything, we stop, show you the damage and agree the cost before continuing.
How long does a full bathroom take?+
4–7 working days. Complex jobs may run slightly longer — we'll confirm on quote.
Why do you redo all the plumbing?+
So the warranty is fully ours. Every joint is new — no guessing who's responsible if something leaks behind a panel.
Who clears the rubbish?+
We do. Old suite, tiles, packaging and all waste leave with us.
What's in the basic package?+
Bath, basin, pedestal toilet, chrome taps, shower and wastes. Your chosen floor, one wall finish and a waterproof PVC ceiling — all included.
What fittings come as standard?+
Chrome throughout. Upgrade to black, brushed brass or gunmetal at extra cost.
Is the PVC ceiling really included?+
Yes. Waterproof PVC ceiling is standard — no flaking, no mould, no re-painting in a few years.
Are 10mm panels extra?+
Yes. 10mm premium panels are a priced upgrade. Standard-thickness panels are included.
Can you use cheaper panels?+
Slimmer budget panels can be sourced for small spaces like cloakrooms, but we don't recommend them for full bathrooms. Standard thickness gives a better finish and lasts longer.
What is cladding?+
Large waterproof wall panels — PVC, SPC or Dumawall — fixed with hidden trims instead of grout. Fully waterproof in days, not weeks.
Pros of cladding vs tiles+
100% waterproof, grout-free, no mould. Faster to install. Easy to clean. Seamless marble and stone effects you can't achieve with tiles.
Cons of cladding+
Panels aren't real stone. Damage to one panel may need a full sheet replaced. If you prefer traditional grouted tiles we can fit them — you'd just need to supply them.
Can I mix finishes?+
Yes. Popular combo: SPC or Dumawall feature wall with PVC elsewhere. Shortlist what you like and we'll advise.
